When your vehicle is empounded, due to a traffic violation, can the vehicle be search at the tow yard, by tow drivers or officer. Personal items were

taken.

Hello.

Unfortunately, yes, your car can be searched. The items are often cataloged. If any items are missing they may be being held as evidence by the police. If they are not being held by the police you should contact the tow yard immediately to discover the location of the contents.
