Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
I was pulled over in a car that I had just purchased, however, the registration was expired and it had a fake tag. It was charged as a misdemeanor, and i missed my court date. (misdemeanor arraigment) What sort of penalties can this have?

You should seriously consider retaining an attorney to assist you in this matter. The best approach is to get this matter back on the court calendar. Then obtain a copy of the police report and and then review your options. If the matter is not put back on calendar and the bench warrant recalled you face some time in jail. You may also be charged with an additional crime of failing to appear.
