Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
I was pulled over and cited for "talking on a cell phone" when I wasn't. I also was cited for no insurance and expired registration. Can I possibly get a motion to dismiss granted on all offenses if I can prove that I wasn't on the phone and the officer's reason for pulling me over wasn't warranted?

If you can prove you had valid registration and insurance at the time, you might have a shot at it. If you didn''t, this was known to the officer and gave him probable cause to stop you.
