Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
I got pulled over by highway patrol. was smoking pot before pulling over. The officer gave me a ticket. 97 MPH. I couldnt believe I drove with that speed. I decided to test to see if I actually drive with 97 MPH and I couldnt beat it. I strongly believe the cop made it up since he smelled the cannabis. I was smoking the joint 20 min ago before pulled over. I believe I drove under 85, and my penalty fee may be decreased from $ 480 for 97 MPH. What should I do?

You're lucky he didn't give you a DUI. Tickets can be fought and beaten. Contact an attorney in your locality who does traffic tickets.
