Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
I was pulled over by LAPD for one violation (using my Cell phone) but was ticketed for not being able to show Proof of Insurance. I could not find my card, but I am and WAS covered during the time of the violation. Can I get it dismissed - minus the mandatory court fees - when I show proof that I was indeed covered? Thanks!

Yes. When you go to court, bring the proof. The usage should dismiss that count, but may charges small administrative fee (but certainly better than the cost of the ticket).
