Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

someone rear ended me two years ago and now I have long term pain and sufferings from that accident, what should I do? My car was declared a total loss by the insurance company and the case of losing my savings entirely is also another matter that I must deal with.

There is a two year statute of limitations from the date of the accident in which to file suit. If it has been more than 2 years since the accident you are barred from suing. Your own automobile policy might provide some medical and wage loss payments.
