Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
I received a citation based on photographic evidence (photo citation). The traffic light was yellow, but the photo shows red. The fee is $480.00 and $64.00 for traffic school. The citation states I have to pay the $480.00 before I can even appeal it.
I thought the city of Los Angeles had disconnected some of these cameras becuase they were illegal?
Do I have to pay it?
There is a service called TicketKick that will appeal the the ticket for a cost of $200.00. I would have to pay $480.00 for the ticket and $200.00 for the service. If I win my appeal it will only cost me $200.00. If I lose the appeal they will return the $200.00. Are these services legitimate?

If "TicketKick" is not a licensed California law firm, do not hire them. Go to highwayrobbery.net for the latest on fighting traffic camera tickets.
