Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
I just received a DUI. On the temporary driver license form the officer did not check "suspended/revoked" but checked off "surrendered (attached)". what does that mean to me and how should i go about getting my license back?

They took your license and issued the temporary license (the pink 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper). You only have 10 days from the date of your arrest to contact the DMV and request a hearing or they will automatically suspend your license for four months.
It's time to look for a good, local criminal defense attorney to defend you not only with the DMV but in court on the criminal charges.
