Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
Hello, I received a traffic citation for exceeding 100mph (was going 101mph). In California I guess this means mandatory court appearance. It was issued in Fresno, Ca so the court is over 3 hours away from where I currently live.
What are my options? I am supposed to appear before April 14th, so that leaves me a couple of days. Is it possible to have a lawyer from Fresno area show up on my behalf? Is this called 'appearing through councel'? About how much might this cost?

Yes, you can either appear yourself or hire an attorney to appear for you. Prices can vary and the cheapest is not always the best. I would call several attorneys and then decide which one you want.
