Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
I recived a ticket for violating the cell phone law, but at the time I had pulled over to the side and had stopped to make a call. I was in an unincorporated county area that is patroled by the sheriff, and the police officer that saw me is from the bordering city. I looked up the cellphone law, and I do not feel that I was driving while using the phone. I was stopped. Should I fight this?

I would. Maybe you can subpoena the cell tower records from your carrier to prove you were not in motion during the call in question.
