my rights
does a police officer have the right to search with no probable grounds to search if the person is not on parol or probation and the person was not commiting a crime or a suspect in a crime and was only stopped due to a minor bicycle violation?

Police officers have a limited right to search an individual stopped for a traffic violation. The purpose of the search is officer safety. Any contraband that is discovered may be legally seized.
