Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
My son received 2 parking violations in San Francisco while he was visiting. We live in Texas. A collection agency has sent us a bill. Will my credit be affected if this is not paid? Can he or I (coowner of vehicle) be stopped for this if we ever visit Califoornia again?

You are absolutely better off paying the outstanding citations, especially if you plan to ever return and drive in California. You may be stopped and you car might even be impounded if you have citations that have not been paid long enough. Also, the penalties accrue at a very fast rate in San Francisco, so the sooner you pay, the better.
Thanks,
