Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
No speed limit sign
I was ticketed for speeding, on a road where there is no speed limit sign, it is only written on the ground what the speed is on the side of the road I was stopped at. What are the laws regarding the posting of speed limits, and where can I find them?

Re: No speed limit sign
Thanks for your posting. Normally speed limits are set according to a speed survey, and have to be posted.
If you can establish that the speed limit was not posted, you will have a defense.
If you would like an attorney to handle this for you, I'd be happy to ... we do a lot of traffic trials, and have a great success rate.
