Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

speeding ticket and failure to yield to emerging vehicle

1) I was cited for speeding at 108

mph by radar. Is there anyway I can

prove myself not guilty? What are

some ways people have successfully

fought speeding tickets?

2) I was also cited for not yielding to

an emergency vehicle 21806 (a1)

because I pulled over on the left side

of highway 5. When I was reading

the specific code, it stated that the

vehicle must turn on a light AND a

siren. However, when I was pulled

over, the cop did not use a siren. If

the cop admits that she didn't use

her siren, is the citation revoked?

And also, what if the cop denies not

using her siren, thus claiming her

citation was valid? Does the judge

need to chose between my word or

the cops?
