Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
Hi, I got a speeding ticket last night and I am planning to do Trial by Written Declaration. I understand after I write my TBD and lose, I can do Trial de Novo and ask for traffic school. However, I am wondering if after I lose on the TBD, can I just simply pay the bail and also still enrolled in traffic school? Bottom line is I can accept paying the bail (of course it would be better I don't); however, I can't afford my insurance rate going up. I also really don't want to face judges on court. Note this is my first ever ticket and I know I am eligible for traffic school. Things are extra hard for me because they get my home address on my ticket wrong, and I cannot receive any letter from them. I have to do everything in person or by phone (any advice on this?)
Thanks a lot!

A TBD is a waste of time. You will have a headache getting traffic school if you lose. get an attorney and fight ticket.
