Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

Speedy traffic court trail over 45 days!

No one answered to my previous submitted question until it expired. I still need someones kind advice.

If you could drop me a line or two, I really appreciated it.

I went to the court few days ago for my traffic citation and the officer did not show, he had requested the court for more time. I requested for the dismissal of the case, but the judge (commissioner) refused. He wanted to give the officer another chance. I insisted that I am already gone through extreme hardship and he did not want to dismiss the case.

In the arraignment I did not wave the time. So, I think the judge should wrap up this case within 45 days. The judge instructed me that there is one open slot in the calendar and that would be on 2/22 and ask me, if I want the morning or afternoontake or leave it

I came home and counted the days and it is 47/48 days as oppose to 45 days. Is there anything I could do to bring the date to within 45 days or push him to dismiss the case?

I sincerely appreciate your kind and Prompt advice.

Best regards,
