Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
Stop Sign Violation Ticket
How does a Stop sign ticket violation effect Insurance Rates?
Also does contesting this ticket cause other problems? A stake-out police car was seen and they claim I didn't stop, but I did stop.
I understand this ticket fine could be betweet $200-$300 & my insurance could be increased to $400 to $500. This I don't understand at all. Thank You for any help.

If you are eligible, you can prevent your insurance from going up by attending traffic school.
