Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
Stopping suddenly
I believe that a driver intentionally hit my car in the rear. The police ticketed me for stopping suddenly. Can i still be awarded damages from the driver who hit my car in the rear?

Re: Stopping suddenly
In almost all cases, fault is the person who hits the other from behind. You did not provide enough facts. Did you fight the ticket? This would be a personal injury case if you were injured, and/or negligence if you just sustained property damage. I would consult an attorney on this matter.
