Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
I got summons while officer hid in a private parking.
I got a summons for crossing a double double line on a street.The officer hid in a private parking lot that reads ''customer parking only'' Isn't the officer out of jurisdiction by traspacing private properity, and issuing tickets and therefore the citation is null and void ?.
I am retired, the citation fee in Ca. is over $ 200. oo dollars plus Traffic School and Corut costs. Pls advise

I doubt that the police officer's conduct is a ground for dismissing the ticket. Go to the local library and check out the Nolo Press book "How to Fight Your Traffic Ticket". This book should give you all of the information you need to take care of your ticket.
