I received a ticket for throwing a cigarette out the car window. When I tried to pay the fine online it wouldn't let me and scheduled me a court date. Do I need a lawyer? How much is the fine in California?

The penalty for a violation of the Paul Buzzo Act is $275, plus you will have to pick up some garbage.
