Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
got a traffic citation for walking against a stop light cant pay it and extension is overdue i also cant afford to give them a check to see the judge

I have never heard of any defendant in a traffic case, or otherwise, having to pay money in order to "see the judge." Just blow it off and you will get to see the judge for free. (This is true, but I'm obviously being facetious.) Go see the clerk at 8:30 AM sharp any day and tell them you want to have an "arraignment." If they refuse get a date stamp or some proof you were there. Plead not guilty and ask to be released on your own recognizance. This should at least buy you some time.
