traffic ticket not pulling over until safe place

I drove (slowly with hazard lights on and called 911 to tell them i was doing it) for several miles until a safe lighted place was found to pull over.. how do i defend this?

Check the book "How to Fight Your Traffic Ticket" from Nolo Press. Set the matter for trial and explain to the court that you were afraid to stop prior to arriving at the lighted place. Ask the police officer how fast you were driving. Also did the police officer activate the red lights and the siren. Did the police officer give you instructions with the loud speaker on his vehicle to stop in a specific place. Did he receive notice from the dispatcher that you were looking for a safe place to stop. describe how isolated the area was in which you were when the police officer activated the red ligts.
