Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
Is It Really True???
I was in an accident where the driver backed into me and damaged my front end as to where it is not drivable..(I was not moving at all).. Am I REQUIRED by California state law or any law to give the other driver more that one estimate for him/her to fix my car or is that just something people do??

You have to prove your damages. Generally, that is one estimate. However, I tell all of my clients to get more than one estimate. An estimator may miss something or may be using non-OEM parts or aftermarket parts. It is in your best interest to get a second estimate. I have talked about this at my blog, www.calpiblog.com.
