uninsured motorist
My son is 19 living at home and is
driving uninsured. Could we be sued in
an injury accident?

The general rule is the owner of the car is responsible if the driver has permission to drive the car. There have also been instances where the parents provided the car to the child, who was known to abuse alcohol and drive, that the parents have been found liable for injuries from an auto accident.
