Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
if i have a warrant for arrest for failure to appear(not paying a ticket) and i go to court will i be arrested?

The general rule is that you will not be arrested when you appear in court. You can have a better idea of whether or not you will be arrested by determining the amount of bail. If you are really concerned about being arrested then you should hire an attorney to appear for you.
