You have to show up in court. Odds are this won't result in your going to jail.

While you will have to go to court to have the warrant recalled, one way to decrease your odds of getting arrested and going to jail is to hire a lawyer. He/She can get it put on calendar without you being present. An important point is to act fast. If an officer comes to your home to arrest you or if you get arrested when an officer runs your ID when you jaywalk or at some other time your chances of ending up in jail are much greater.
