Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
Will violation of California Penal Code section 640(b)(1), and failure to pay the associated fine, be reported to my home state (Virginia) and impact my driver's license or insurance there? I don't think "Fare Evasion" is a vehicle or traffic infraction, so wondering how it is handled.

This is an infraction. I would not expect it to have an impact on your drivers license or insurance.
