Is wreckless driving considered a crime?

Hello---Thank you for your question. Yes, "reckless driving" is defined in California Vehicle Code Sect. 23103 et seq., and is a Misdemeanor Crime with jail time from 5 to 90 days, and a fine of up to $1,000.
