1993 revocable inter vivos trust

How long must records be held during the periods of the trusts life.

Each 7 years can records be disposed of ?

If you were my client, I would direct that all records be retained for the entire life of the trust and through the distribution period.

The trustee should maintain the records for tax purposes as long as an individual should. Ask you accountant about that. If the trustee is making annual accountings, the records should be held for six years following the accounting.
