Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

It's been 1 year since a death. Money is the only thing that needs to be disbursed. Why is the estate taking so long? Should I be concerned?

The short answer is that Probate takes a long time, even in the simplest of estates. To find out why this probate is taking so long, you should call the Administrator or their attorney as ask for an accounting and update on the status of the case.
