Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

22yrs ago an agreement was made & signed by his son & daughter-in-law that my husband would loan them 240,000.00 & pay interest only . We married in 1990 & have been recieving the interest but the question & problem is that if my husband dies before me then where do I stand on this? My husband asked him for a copy of the agreement but his son "said" he couldn't locate it. My husband wants to make sure that it will continue but? What can we do? Thank You, Bonnie

Locate or rewrite the agreement now, or sue now to get a judgment with whatever evidence you have.
