Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Hi. I became an ABC licensed professional after 11yrs of school meeting the requirements (nationally USA) $$$ and time.

In 1997 Medicare acknowledged a new alternate agency.... BOC

in 2004 ABC sought to eliminate? BOC by allowing any holder of BOC to enter ABC without meeting any requirements, as many of us did.

Does this violate a law?

Only if the terms of the membership and certification agreement you have with the American Board of Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc. states that they will never change their certification standards, or permit certificate holders under somewhat different standards to be accepted. The Board for Orthotist/Prosthetist Certification has standards and requirements, too, by the way. So you are incorrect in stating that ABC allowed BOC certified professionals to enter ABC without any requirements.
