Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Amending Trust-CA.

I have a single, Living Trust/Will & Power of Attorney for Medical (1994), with one beneficiary. I would like to make changes to the sucessor trustee, list of assets, etc. Can I make these changes myself without going to an attorney? Do I need certain forms? Any info. is appreciated.

Re: Amending Trust-CA.

I recommend that you have an attorney review the trust documents and other documents. While you may be able to do the amendments yourself, no attorney can accurately assess the risk of you doing it correctly. If you need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.

you should consult an attorney to review your trust and other documents in lights of changes in federal and state law since 1994 and to prepare any amendments or new documents which you desire.
