Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
amendment to trust, power of attorney
I need to change my trust and power of attorney (address, trustees, bank account) since I moved. Do I need to go thru an attorney to change or can I prepare an amendment stating section/paragraph changed in front of document. If I prepare does it need to be witnessed or notorized?

Re: amendment to trust, power of attorney
Trusts and Powers of Attorneys are very complicated and important documents. I would strongly recommend getting an attorney to help you with the documents. You could try to amend them yourself, but there is no way I could tell you how to do that without seeing the documents. It has been my experience that those who try to amend such documents themselves do not do so correctly.
