Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
annual accounting of trust
Father died year ago, brother is trustee. Does brother have to give an annual accounting of all income and out go of monies. He has been trustee 3 years and never has. Can we request a 3 year spread sheet of these incomes and expenditures?

Yes. Your are entitled to a full accounting. But, if he resists and is not forthcoming, or if it looks like he is doctoring the books, you will have to sue for an accounting, and possibly to change the Trustee.

you can and should request an accounting going back to the day he took over as trustee.
