Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
Apparently my mother has created a living trust but does not have any recollection of doing this and who helped her with the process. Is there any way to help her obtain a copy of this trust without knowing the attorney who helped create it?

Why does your mother believe she created a living trust?
Does she own any real property? If so, was the title ownership of the property transferred to the trust?
There is not data base in California holding trust information. So, without some additional information, it would be impossible to say who helped here, except for calling every estate planning attorney in the Bay Area.
If her lawyer transferred her property to a trust, then the law firm's address may be listed on the recorded deed, and the Notary Public who stamped the deed may be the lawyer or an employee of the law firm.
