Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

I asked a trust question earlier this evening but forgot an important fact. When I said I was not permitted to see the instrument of a trust that named me as a (future) beneficiary, I should have added that I was permitted to receive some current principal or interest from one of the component trusts. I was not told its name and do not know whether it was the revocable third or one of the irrevocable thirds.
