Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
My attorney and court fee costs are coming out of my parents' trust as relatives are fighting the validity of the two amendments to the trust.
What happens when the trust money is all gone? Do I have to sell my home next in order to pay my attorney? What is the law on this issue?

I assume your are the prior poster who said that the home was part of the Trust. If the attorney fees exceed the cash assets then the Trust could borrow against the home but you would have to qualify for and be approved as a so-signer on the loan. After the Trust assets are fully distributed then you could try to sue the aunts but that will cost more money that you do not have. Your attorney can ask the court to award the trust attorney fees against the aunts for a frivolous suit, but if the judge has not ruled against them yet I have to suspect that there is some basis to their objections. I the trust attorney can not explain to you why they have not already lost, then you speak to another attorney.
