Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

To the Attorneys who answered my question with more questions. 27000 was before they wanted us to pay both our and their leagal fees. it would leave us with $7000.they would get $9000 each and keep the rest of the advanced morgage when the papers were signed .leaving us with about 1/16 the value of the houise

If your husband was entitled to 1/3 of the Trust assets, then he should get 1/3, not some lower figure. From that sum your own attorney fees would be subtracted. There would be no reason for your paying their attorney's fees. The attorney for the Trust would be entitled to charge the Trust for his/her fees, but if the Trustee clearly disobeyed the terms of the Trust the Trustee should have to pay but that might be difficult to enforce.

I do not know what you mean by "advanced mortgage." Since you have an attorney who knows the facts of the case, you need to question him/her in detail.
