I don't know of any source. You can figure out whether someone is licensed in California by going to www.calbar.ca.gov and looking under the attorney search feature.

I don't know why you think you need an attorney licensed in two states, but often this isn't necessary. Attorneys can ususally help you find another one to deal with out of state matters. If the situation is a litigated matter, the attorney can also get admitted to another state on a temporary basis.

Good luck!

The California State Bar is the entity licenses attorneys to practice law in California. You can contact them through their web site and see if they have a separate listing of attorneys licensed practice in California as well as other states. I don't think so. If you know the specific state which is the other state in which the attorney could practice you might try dear Bar Association to see if they have a listing of duel state attorneys. Additionally, Martindale Hubbell is a publication listing in the attorneys or licensed practice in any given state. They may have a source which shows multistate licensed attorneys. They have a web site but I do not know the specific site name. Good luck.
