Should auto registration be in both husband and wife names

When purchasing an automobile, are there advantages in having the registration

in both husband and wife names? Our home deed is in both names and a trust.

We each have a will.. I am concerned about the impact of law suits as well as any

complications that could arise if the only person on the registration becomes

incapacitated.
