Automobile in living trust?

Can you settle a friendly wager I have with a friend? He says my cars should be put into my living trust - I say they should not. Who's right?

I normally only put vehicle titles into a client's trust if they are collectables, like a Packard .

Well, here's the problem. The DMV would allow a car to be registered that way. That being said, you should have a bill of conveyance for all personal property including your cars to yourself as Trustee of the Trust. So, I think you both win.... or lose?
