Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

As a beneficiary to a trust in CA, how long should it take to receive a copy from the Trustee and what is the estimated timeframe to distribute funds? (No debt to settle, very clean Trust)

The trustee should send a statutory notice to you within 60 days of the Trustor's death. Usually a copy of the trust is sent along with the notice, but if not, request in writing and the Trustor or his/her attorney should respond pretty promptly.

As far as distribution, every situation is different. You may certainly ask the trustee or his/her lawyer to give you an estimated time frame.
