Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
I am a beneficiary of a trust in California and my brother-in-law is the trustee who is also a lawyer, he refuses to give me an accounting and has lied to me. What can I do?

All of your remedies involve going to court to force the trustee to do what he is supposed to do. Your going up against a lawyer in court will not be a fair fight, due to your lack of familiarity with the system. You need to speak with a lawyer and determine what can be done. It may be that a letter from your own attorney will get this moving in the right direction.
