Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
Biological father cashed in a retirement account that was left by their grandfather. He used their SSN and filed income tax on it for the year and refused to pay any taxes on the amount. Since, he placed it in his bank account, the child support seized the money and took it all and he used it to pay back all his back support. Now, that my daughters are legally adults and working they are being hassled by the franchise tax board for all the back taxes. They are attaching their wages and taking their taxes. What can my daughters do?
