Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

I bought a house with my boyfriend, 25 years ago. I paid $500 a month of the mortgage and instead of child support he paid $235. The house was only in his name, as I had bad credit at the time. We had the agreement that when the house was paid off, that he would put it in my name. He recently died and I found out that he put my house in a family trust. Now his wife(that I didn't know about until a couple of years ago) Gave me a 30 day notice to move.S he is the sole Trustee. What can I do? I'm 62 and thought I'd live out my days here.

That's terrible. I'm sorry for your loss, and your boyfriend's betrayal. I don't suppose that agreement was in writing? If not, you may be well and truly *****ed. Get yourself and all documentation- any evidence of any kind- to a lawyer with expertise in estate litigation asap... check your phone book for a low-cost legal clinic in your area if $$ is an issue, which no doubt it is. There are deadlines for challenging or making a claim against a trust or estate, so even if you have a case you can lose your rights if you don't act quickly.

Not a good situation to be in on many fronts. Did you create any kind of paper trail? Wife will argue that your payments were like rent. You need to see a litigation attorney ASAP. So sorry to hear about this deception.
