Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

in calif...my husband added me to the car registration when we got married.the registration reads

leagal owners his name OR my name....when he passes do i legally own the auto.he has terminal cancer and his days are numbered...i dont trust his executer to the estate and want to know if having me listed on the registration as legal owner means i will own the car when he dies...it is paid for.

Yyou are joint owners so when he dies full owneship should pass to you; you wil lneed to go to the DMV with a death certificate to get it changed into your name alone.

If you do not trust the executor tell your husband unless you think he wil get very angry at you. Why does he not name you to handle the estate instead of having to pay a fee to someone else?
