Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

California Law Question- I was awarded money from a trust. The trustor is avoiding me. It has been over 120 days to settle all accounts. I wrote a certified letter with 10 extra days to fulfill the trust and send my award. I recieved the confirmation reciept for the letter. It has now past the 10 day extention. How do I get the courts to compel this trust? Can I do this myself?

One does not get "awarded" money from a trust, and the "trustor" would not pay money out of a trust in most cases unless they are also the trustee. So you need to go back and get your facts straight before anyone could help you.

Have the Trust reviewed and if you have not received the property under the trust designating you as a beneficiary then you need to file suit in probate court in the county where the property is being held. Contact me directly.
