Does a California probate court have jurisdiction over intangible personal property of a decedent located overseas, such as a bank account or securities account at an English bank which does not have any US branches?

the normal us and english rule is that the situs of intangible personal property is the domicile of the decedent. however, a foreign bank or securities firm may not accept an order from a california probate court. in that case ancillary probate may be necessary.
