Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
California Will
I live in California but my Executors and Beneficary are located in Philadelphia, PA. Will there be any problems in term of probate fees or estate fees for my Executors?

Re: California Will
There should not be any problems. Acting as an out of state executor can be a little difficult, but it is much easier in today's age of technology. The executor will need to retain local counsel to handle the probate of your will (assuming your estate is larger than $100,000).
Re: California Will
This would not be an issue, although the lawyer for the executor would need to be local if probate is required. The court may require a bond, even if your will waives the bond--this is up to the judge, but they're more likely to require it with an out-of-state executor. I have handled several probates where the executor never even visited the state.
